Right of Withdrawal

Legal Framework

This return policy complies with Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014 on consumer rights in distance contracts.

Legal 14-Day Period

Under Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days from the date of purchase, without stating a reason and without penalties.

However, by placing the order, the client expressly requests the immediate commencement of the service. According to Art. 16, lit. a) of OUG 34/2014, the right of withdrawal no longer applies once the service has been fully performed, if performance began with the consumer's prior express consent.

By completing the order, the client explicitly confirms that:

  • They agree to the immediate commencement of the service
  • They understand that they lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully delivered
  • They have been informed about the 14-day period and the applicable exception

Free Cancellation Before Service Commencement

If the service has not yet started (the document has not entered production, the consultation has not been scheduled), the client may request order cancellation at no cost. A full refund is issued through the same payment method.

Proportional Partial Refund

If the service has already started but has not been completed, the client may request withdrawal. In this case, SC Beletage SRL will retain an amount proportional to the service already rendered and refund the difference.

Example: if a Pre-Feasibility Report is 40% complete at the time of the withdrawal request, the client receives a 60% refund of the order value.

Exceptions — When Full Refunds Are Granted

SC Beletage SRL grants a full refund in the following situations:

  • Technical issues preventing service delivery (due to our fault)
  • Non-delivery of the service within the specified timeframe, after notification and a reasonable additional period
  • Payment errors (duplicate payments, incorrect amounts)

SC Beletage SRL may grant a partial refund for:

  • Incomplete service delivery
  • Quality significantly below the specified standard

Refund Process

  1. Send your request to [email protected] including:

    • Order number
    • Reason for the refund request
    • Evidence (if applicable)

  2. We review the request within 5 business days

  3. If the request is approved:

    • Refund is issued through the same payment method (NETOPIA / card)
    • Processing time: max. 14 days from approval
